These are made in a soft and comfortable leather. This is a good leather that does not stink with use. The leather is flexible and moves well with the hand. There is an opening under the palm area and slight sewn cuts under each finger joint (to keep flexible and remove sweat).One of the best features of this glove is that it lacks a curl bar in the palm area – this means you can completely close your fists for striking! Most bag gloves will train you to strike with an un-tightened and open fist (not this one). There is thick and effective padding on the knuckles, top of hand and even some cushion around the wrist (thanks to a Velcro double wrap).
All in all, for some bag-work and variety of striking these gloves will enable proper form and protect hands from damage. These are comfortable and small enough that they in no way feel bulky or foreign. For light grappling and ground-work these should wear well enough.

In the demo we were shown, which was a sample bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Brett Rogersit is evident even in this early stage in development that fighters are already endowed with personality. Fedor moves like Fedor with his trademark low-hands defensive style, and bouncy ready stance.
