There is an opening under the palm area and slight sewn cuts under each finger joint (to keep flexible and remove sweat).One of the best features of this glove is that it lacks a curl bar in the palm area – this means you can completely close your fists for striking! Most bag gloves will train you to strike with an un-tightened and open fist (not this one). There is thick and effective padding on the knuckles, top of hand and even some cushion around the wrist (thanks to a Velcro double wrap).
